I have twenty years experience in general management, including ten at a senior level, mainly in the public sector but recently with private businesses. I have particular skills in business analysis and improvement, organisational leadership, business strategy, and financial management. A major part of my work has been working with management teams to systematically assess their business strengths and weaknesses, and take effective improvement action. I have an excellent track record in delivering results. In April 2010, I left my position as Deputy Director with Oxfordshire County Council to set up my own business as an independent business consultant.
In 2000 I gained a Diploma in Business Excellence at Newcastle College, and in 2006 I graduated at the Bristol Business School with a MSc (with distinction) in Leadership and Organisation of Public Services.
I am married to Elaine, who is a Psychiatrist and we have a family and live in Bath.
